Owner-run since 2011
Most Tampa roofers send a salesperson on commission to quote your job, then hand the work to whichever subcontractor is free. You meet one person, work with a different crew, and the final bill carries charges that were never explained.
Marcus Delgado does every inspection, quotes every job in writing with every item listed, and uses the company's own trained crews. No subcontractors.
This service covers the full process from storm damage to completed repair or replacement when your insurance company is paying for some or all of the work. We inspect the damage, document what the storm did to your roof, meet the insurance adjuster on your property, and complete the repair or replacement your claim covers. Homeowners across Tampa and Hillsborough County use this service after hurricanes, tropical storms, severe thunderstorms and wind events that tear shingles, crack tiles, dent metal panels, or send tree branches through the deck. If you filed a claim or plan to file one, this service handles the roofing side of that claim from documentation through final inspection.
What we do
From leak detection to full replacement, every job is owner-inspected and crew-installed by Bayline Roofing.
We inspect after a storm, document the damage for your insurer, meet the adjuster on site, and do the repair or replacement the claim covers.
We tear off the old roof down to the deck, replace any rotted wood, and install a new shingle, tile or metal roof built to Florida code.
We find the actual source of the leak, fix it, and show you photos of what we found and what we did.
We install standing seam and exposed-fastener metal roofs that hold up to Florida wind, heat and salt air for 40 years or more.
We install and repair modified bitumen and TPO roofs on porches, additions, carports and flat-roof homes.
We inspect your roof, complete the four-point and wind mitigation reports insurers ask for, and offer a yearly maintenance visit.
You came home after a storm and saw shingles in the yard or missing from the roof. You have a tarp over part of the roof because something punched through during the weather. Water is coming into the attic, a bedroom, or down a wall, and it started during or right after the storm. Your insurance company sent an adjuster or asked you to get an estimate for roof damage. Your neighbors are getting new roofs paid for by insurance and you see similar damage on your own house. You called your insurer and they opened a claim, but you do not know what happens next or who documents the damage before it gets worse. You need someone to meet the adjuster on site, explain what needs repair, and give you a written scope of work that matches what the claim will cover.
Emergency tarping 24/7
When a storm opens your roof, water damage spreads fast. We answer emergency calls 7 days a week and get a tarp on the same day, usually within hours.
Call for Emergency TarpingWhy Bayline Roofing
You get a straight answer from the person responsible for the job, not a salesperson.
The people on your roof are trained by us and answer to us, so the work matches what you were promised. We do not hand jobs to whichever subcontractor is free that week.
You see the price for every part of the job, including wood replacement per sheet. The quote holds for 30 days and the final bill matches it to the dollar.
We pull the permit, pay for it as part of the job, schedule the city or county inspections, and hand you the paperwork your insurer needs. You do not chase any of it.
When a storm opens your roof, we get it covered the same day so damage inside stops spreading. We answer emergency calls 7 days a week, usually within hours.
Your yard, driveway and pool area are cleared of nails and debris at the end of every day. We cover landscaping and use a dumpster for all old material.
We inspect your roof after the storm and take photos of every area the weather damaged. We write a detailed report with those photos and send it to you and your insurance company. We meet the adjuster on your roof when they visit, walk them through the damage, and answer their questions about what needs replacing and what can stay. Once the claim is approved, we complete the repair or replacement work the insurer agreed to pay for, pull the permit, schedule the inspections, and send you copies of the final inspection report and warranty documents.
This service does not include damage to gutters, siding, windows, or interior finishes unless they are part of the roofing structure covered by the claim. We do not negotiate claim denials or handle disputes with your insurance company. We do not cover your deductible or inflate estimates to make up for it. We document what the storm did and complete the roofing work your claim pays for, nothing else.
How it works
Marcus visits within 48 hours, goes up on the roof, takes photos of every problem, and sends a written, itemised quote the same day.
Once you sign, we pull the permit, order materials and give you a start date, usually within two weeks.
Most homes are done in one to three days. We clean up every evening, pass the final inspection, and hand you the warranty and inspection reports.
The process follows the same three steps described on the home page, with additional steps specific to insurance work. Marcus visits your property within 48 hours of your call, goes up on the roof, and photographs every area damaged by the storm. He writes a detailed scope of work with photos and an itemized estimate, then sends it to you and your insurance company the same day. When your insurer schedules an adjuster visit, Marcus meets them on site, walks the roof with them, and explains what the storm damaged and what needs repair or replacement. Once your claim is approved, we order materials and pull the permit. The start date is usually within two to three weeks, depending on how long the insurer takes to send payment or approval and how quickly materials arrive.
On the scheduled start date, the crew removes all damaged materials down to the deck, replaces any wood the storm or water ruined, and installs the new roof to Florida code. Most jobs take one to three days. We clean up every evening, pass the final county inspection, and send you copies of the inspection report, warranty, and photos of the completed work. You pay your deductible when the final inspection passes.
What customers say
4.8-Star Rated onGoogle
“Marcus came out the morning after the storm, tarped the hole before lunch, and handled everything with our insurance company. The new roof went on in two days and the yard was cleaner than before they arrived.”
“We got three quotes. Bayline's was not the cheapest, but it was the only one that listed every item. The final bill matched the quote to the dollar.”
“They found a leak two other companies missed. It was flashing around the chimney, not the shingles. Fixed in an afternoon and they sent photos of the before and after.”

Where we work
We work throughout Tampa and surrounding areas, usually within a 30-minute drive of our Cypress Street office.
Check My AddressDo I need to get multiple estimates for my insurance company? Some insurers ask for more than one estimate, but most send their own adjuster and set the payout based on their inspection. We provide a detailed, itemized estimate your insurer can compare to their adjuster's report.
How long does it take to start work after the claim is approved? Usually two to three weeks from approval to start date, depending on material delivery and permit processing. If the roof is open and tarped, we prioritize the schedule.
What if the insurance payout is less than your estimate? We review the adjuster's report with you, explain any differences, and discuss whether the payout covers the necessary work. If the insurer missed damage or underpaid, we provide documentation you can send back to them, but we do not negotiate claims on your behalf.
Do you cover my deductible or inflate the estimate to make up for it? No. You are responsible for your deductible as stated in your policy. We document actual damage and provide accurate estimates. Inflating estimates is insurance fraud and we do not participate in it.
Common questions
Most shingle roofs on a typical Tampa home run $12,000 to $22,000. Tile and metal cost more. The exact price depends on size, pitch and how much wood needs replacing, which is why every quote is written and itemised after an inspection.
Most replacements take one to three days on the roof. From signed contract to start date is usually two to three weeks, depending on permit approval and material delivery.
Yes. Florida requires a permit for roof replacement and most repairs over a small area. We pull it, pay for it as part of the job, and schedule the inspections.
We cover landscaping and the pool with tarps, use a dumpster or dump trailer for all old material, and run a magnetic sweep for nails every evening.
Our 10-year workmanship warranty covers any leak caused by our installation. The manufacturer's warranty covers the materials for up to 50 years. Both are registered in your name and transfer to the next owner if you sell.
A 10 percent deposit when materials are ordered and the balance when the final inspection passes. We take check, card and bank transfer, and offer financing through Hearth. If insurance is paying, you pay your deductible.
